Summer is coming and what better time to join in the food, fun, sun and music for this year's Celebrate Bridgman! Festival being held July 12-15, 2018. This year's lineup includes many of your annual favorites along with some new additions!
Art Around Town
As you walk around town you'll see art on display at many of the local businesses. Julie Bender's 7th grade class have again designed some captivating art that reminds them of Bridgman. Check out the budding artists creations!

23rd Annual 5K/10K Run Walk:
Start your Saturday, July 14 - 7 am with the Annual 5K/10K Run Walk. The 5K race will take place through downtown Bridgman, winding through Stelter Farms, around the high school and through Water Tower Place. Those competing in the 10K will take a detour and continue south on Gast Road and through scenic Lake Township Park. Medals will be given to the top 3 runners of each male and female age group. Celebrate Bridgman! Parade:
July 14 at 11 am The parade will start Gast Road and travel west on Lake Street. Floats, bands, motorcycles, fire trucks, police cars, popcorn, stilt walkers, llamas and hopefully Shuler's calf again! If you know anyone interested in participating in the parade, forms are available here or at City Hall.
July 14 - 11 am to 4 pm. Haymarket Brewery will once again host the Autos n' Ales Car Show on their wooded grounds at 9301 Red Arrow Hwy. This site serves as a perfect backdrop for cars of all makes and vintages. Haymarket offers award winnings beers and yummy wood-fired pizzas. Join in the fun & register your car for a chance to win a cool custom-designed trophy and braggin' rights. Suggested donation is $10 with the proceeds being donated to Woodland Shores Caring Cupboard program.
Sand Art Contest
July 14 - 2 pm Miss Bridgman and her court will be hosting the Sand Art Contest at Weko Beach. This is a great way to enjoy some fun in the sun, meet the young men & women the represent our community and practice your sand castle techniques.

Sand Sculpture Display
Local business owner Janet Schrader a.k.a. the Sand Pirate will be putting up one of her outstanding sand art displays in the downtown area. The display will be going up in the middle of June and be up through the end of the "season". The Sand Pirate will be on hand Saturday July 14 giving demonstrations and "hints" for making awesome sand sculptures.
Celebrate Bridgman! Street Concert
Grab a lawn chair & head downtown Saturday July 14 from 1 pm - 4 pm for a repeat performance again this year. The concert will be in Chase Bank parking lot. The band line-up will be "The Spaniels" and "PastTime". You can grab a snack while you're there from the "Twisted Dawg" hot dog vendor.
Firemen's Street Dance
Don't miss the annual Firemen's Street Dance. It's a great place to meet up with family, friends and classmates under the Big Top!
Thursday, July 12 6 pm-11 pm is the Family Night/Teen Dance with a live DJ and firefighter-themed activities for younger kids.
Friday, July 13 and Saturday July 14 7 pm-12:30 pm are the Adult Dances with a Live Band, beverages and snacks will be available. 21 and over only so don't forget your ID! Come dance the night away!
